Masnellyarti Hilman is an Indonesian environmental expert who has dedicated more than 45 years of her professional life to Environmental and Pollution Control. She has worked in the Ministry of Environment in the Republic of Indonesia, with her last assignment as the Deputy Minister for Hazardous Substances, Hazardous Wastes and Solid Wastes Management. Moreover, during several international meetings and group discussions, Hilman has become a notable team leader for Indonesian delegates. In 2003, she wrote a book on the environment entitled “Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Waste in Indonesia.” Her consistency in providing insights and expertise related to environmental management resulted in an award of Indonesia Bureaucracy Statements Award in 2008.
Hilman has a bachelor's degree in Biology from Padjadjaran University, Bandung and an environmental Master of Science in Mineral Resources Ecology from Colorado School of Mines, United States of America.
