Regional Coordinator
Dr Petr Sharov joined GAHP in 2022. His main area of expertise is Human Health Risk Assessment, which includes exposure to heavy metals, radiation, and persistent organic pollutants. For more than 25 years he has worked on health risk mitigation and cleanup projects in the USA, Georgia, Mongolia, Vietnam, India, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Palestine, Russia, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan. He specializes in environmental contamination assessments, health risk assessments, and designing and implementing remediation projects. Petr earned his BSc in Environmental Science from Washington State University, an MSc in Far Eastern National University, another in the University of Idaho, and a PhD in Far Eastern National University.
