GENEVA—In January 2025, the Global Alliance on Health and Pollution (GAHP) officially joined 2050Today, a Geneva-based climate action initiative dedicated to reducing greenhouse gas emissions among institutions of International Geneva.
As part of this growing coalition—comprising over 70 organizations, including international bodies, academic institutions, and civil society groups—GAHP will contribute to tackling climate change through measurable action. 2050Today supports its members by helping them assess emissions, develop science-based solutions, and collaborate on sustainability initiatives in areas such as biodiversity, energy, mobility, and waste management.
Developed through a partnership between Swiss federal and local authorities, 2050Today provides a crucial platform for institutions to work toward the decarbonization of International Geneva.
With this partnership, GAHP furthers its commitment to shaping global climate policy while advancing its mission to improve health by addressing toxic pollution. Visit GAHP’s official page in 2050Today via https://2050today.org/gahp-global-alliance-on-health-and-pollution/
