GAHP Featured on UBC Television's Good Morning Uganda TV show

The show highlighted the impactful discussions from the second working group (WG) meeting, which focused on crafting interventions to reduce lead exposure in Uganda.

During this pivotal meeting, key outcomes from the first WG meeting were reviewed, along with feedback on the preliminary lead Uganda assessment report prepared by GAHP. Various intervention options for the environmentally sound management of lead were proposed, categorized, and evaluated under policy, regulatory, and institutional frameworks. The WG also prioritized the top five interventions in each category and deliberated on recommendations for the next project phases aimed at reducing lead pollution and exposure.
