In many low-and-middle-income countries, 1 in 2 children have dangerous levels of lead in their blood. USAID & UNICEF are joining forces with governments and public & private sector partners to change that.

GAHP is proud to join the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future to help protect the health of children worldwide. The Partnership aims to unite governments, organizations, and stakeholders in a concerted effort to end childhood lead poisoning.

Launched at the 79th UN General Assembly by USAID and UNICEF, the Partnership for a Lead-Free Future is the first-ever global public-private partnership dedicated to tackling lead exposure in low- and middle-income countries.

The Partnership has committed to ending childhood lead poisoning by 2040, bringing together governments and public and private sector organizations to create a lead-free future for every child.
