HPAP Senegal
Completed in 2020
The HPAP process in Senegal took place over the course of 2020 and was hosted by the the Ministry of the Environment and Sustainable Development. This HPAP was developed with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
Priority Issues
Three types of pollution have been identified by the working group as priorities in Senegal:
- Indoor and outdoor air pollution
- Heavy metal pollution (lead, mercury, and cyanide)
- Pesticide pollution of soil, water, air and agricultural ecosystems.
